Test for Physical Health for Diabetic Patients
Height and Weight: Since being overweight is a major risk factor for diabetics. If you are overweight, you will benefit from weight loss in two ways; first, loosing lowers your resistant to insulin. This means that your body’s natural insulin can do a better job in controlling your blood glucose level. Secondly, weight loss can improve your cholesterol and blood pressure. This is a good way to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
Blood Pressure: Since diabetics have high blood pressure, so they are aimed at having a blood pressure of 130/80mmHg or less. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for stroke, heart diseases and renal diseases. So it is important to follow your treatment plan if you have a high blood pressure to ensure a good physical health.
Eyes: Diabetics poses a risk for eye disease. The symptoms may not be noticed until they have progressed far enough to damage the eye sight. So having your eyes checked can help prevent problems.
 [b]Thyroid Gland:
This is checked by feeling your neck for any abnormalities. People with type 1 diabetic are arte at higher risk for thyroid diseases.
The Hands, Fingers and Feet: This is done to check for damaged blood vessels and nerves and it is noticed by insensitivity.
Skin: This is done to see if you have any skin problem common in people with diabetics such ad itching, bacterial and fungal infection.
